Demodern establishes a new business unit and brings Nico Zimmermann on board

The digital agency Demodern is expanding its service portfolio and establishing a new strategic business area with 'Digital Products and Installations'. This means Demodern will now develop solutions and installations that are not limited to the browser or a mobile app, but rather cover all areas of digital communication – from digital, connected products to installations and integrated services. "With this step, we are not only entering a forward-looking and important field of digital communication, but we can also better meet the increasing demand from customers," explains Kristian Kerkhoff, Managing Director and co-founder of Demodern, regarding this strategic decision.

The competence field will be led by Nico Zimmermann, 38, who joins Demodern as Director of Creative Engineering. He is considered a recognized expert in digital installations and creative technologies. The former technical director of Aachen's Powerflasher and co-founder and partner of the Bonn-based design and code studio Britzpetermann has set digital standards with interactive solutions for numerous companies over the past twelve years. Demodern and Zimmermann have already successfully collaborated on various projects, such as the 'Metal Gear Art Studio' for Konami and installations in the 'Vodafone Flagshipstore'. From now on, the team will work together.

With Zimmermann's transition, Demodern is taking over the 'Digital Installations' competence area from Britzpetermann and will also continue existing projects and customer relationships – for example, with the Federal Association of German Prefabricated Buildings (BDF).
