Innovative technologies and creative high-end solutions. Digital services for brands, products, or events. Regardless of the platform, technology, or channel – this has always been our core business. Under the leadership of our two managing partners Alexander El-Meligi and Kristian Kerkhoff, around 90 specialists now develop Augmented and Virtual Reality applications, innovative 3D configurators, interactive POS terminals and-games as well as interactive trade show installations. We are now incorporating this focus into our company name and will henceforth be known as ‘Demodern – Creative Technologies’.
“We owe our strong market presence, among other things, to the designation ‘digital agency’. In the past, this made it easier for many clients to perceive our services and find us. However, we ourselves have now encountered issues with the term ‘digital agency’, as the term only partially describes our focus or orientation. The agency landscape has changed significantly due to the rapid development of new topics and technologies and will continue to do so. Therefore, we expect the designation ‘Creative Technologies’ to provide clearer readability of our focus and services as well as a concrete positioning,” explains our Managing Partner Alexander El-Meligi. Kristian Kerkhoff, also Managing Partner, adds: “It’s no coincidence that agencies are under pressure. On the client side, there are simply more and more people who know the business and know exactly what they want and recognize the possibilities available. And this is where we come in: We stand for the sophisticated, the previously unattained, the highlight, the qualitative difference. Without over-interpreting the term ‘Creative Technology’, we are getting pretty close to our positioning.”
Kristian and Alex see the renaming as an opportunity to better convey what we stand for: creativity in connection with technology. This combination allows us to develop innovative solutions that go beyond what is currently known in digital marketing. Furthermore, by positioning ourselves as a service provider specialized in‘Creative Technologies’, we not only clearly differentiate ourselves from a large part of digital agencies but also make ourselves independent of the current discussion about the future of agencies.
The strong demand from companies for creative technology solutions, especially in the areas of AR, VR, and 3D, is also evidenced by our significant growth. Since 2015, our team has more than quadrupled, from just under 20 to 90 employees.
