Demodern Expands Further Areas of Expertise

With three new employees, the agency strengthens its areas of expertise in service design, programming, and automotive.

Cologne, October 22, 2015 – Full speed ahead into the future: This is the clear motto of the digital agency Demodern. To meet this goal and particularly to advance the strategic business field of automotive, the digital specialists bring Oliver Pfeil on board. As Account Director Digital, the 44-year-old will now manage clients such as Mazda. Before joining Demodern, Oliver Pfeil was Account Director Digital Communications at the agency Flexellence, Cologne, as well as at Toyota Germany. He previously gained agency experience at Publicis Pixelpark, People Interactive (both Cologne), and Saatchi & Saatchi London. His previous clients include international corporations such as Telekom and Toyota.

“We are a very young agency and have placed great emphasis on a balanced team structure since our founding,” says Kristian Kerkhoff, Managing Director at Demodern. “To meet the increasing demands of national and international clients as well as ever-growing projects, the use of experienced specialists is indispensable.”

In this way, the agency is also expanding the area of service design: With Anna Centawer (32), the digital agency gains a new Senior UX Designer whose personal credo is to align solutions with the actual problems of end users rather than the corporate enforcement of useless, ego-centric applications. Additionally, her declared goal is to advance the topic of digital transformation for Demodern.

The digital specialists are also strengthening the team of programmers. For this purpose, Matthias Rosenthal (31) joins Demodern as a Senior Developer. The experienced hardware and software engineer will primarily advance and refine innovative WebGL web projects, as well as the expansion of digital installations and individual off-browser projects.

With these three new employees, Demodern responds to the growth of the digital market and the increasing demand for good, digital presentations. As a result, the Demodern team in Cologne and Hamburg now grows to a total of 32 employees – nine of whom are based in Hamburg. Current clients of the digital experts include Nike, Mazda, RTL, Edding, and Montblanc.
