Expansion:DemodernOpensBranchinHamburg

The digital agency Demodern will now also serve its clients from Hamburg: In February 2015, the Cologne-based company will open a second office in the artistically and creatively popular Pianofabrik in Sternschanze. The Hamburg office will be led by Demodern Managing Director and co-founder Alexander El-Meligi.

With this strategic decision, the creatives around Kristian Kerkhoff, Thomas Junk, and Alexander El-Meligi are moving geographically closer to existing clients and contacts. Local clients such as Montblanc, Hamburger Sparkasse (Haspa), or Lemonaid can now be served directly from Hamburg. The proximity to Berlin is also advantageous for new business and recruiting. "Hamburg is a very exciting location for us. We have a strong network there and have been receiving many project and client inquiries from there since the agency was founded," explains Alexander El-Meligi. "With the Hamburg office, we want to address clients in northern Germany as well as potential applicants and agency partners. We believe that our clients and employees will benefit in every way from the creative impulses and influences of this new environment," El-Meligi justifies the decision for Hamburg.
Overall, Demodern looks back on a positive year in 2014: The agency acquired new clients such as Chip.de and Haspa and expanded business with existing clients. With the recently established business field "Digital Products and Installations," Demodern will cover an even broader spectrum of digital solutions in the future. Accordingly, Demodern continues to hire and currently employs 25 people at the Cologne location. The Hamburg team is expected to consist of five employees at the start of the branch.
