If physical retail wants to withstand the growing e-commerce platforms, it must offer incentives to customers that they can't get anywhere else. Demodern aims, as a creative agency for technology, to bring the latest innovation in display technology to the retail market: the introduction of the holographic display. A brand-new technology with the potential to transform and innovate the shopping experience.
Window Shopping 2.0
Using a holographic display as part of the storefront, a virtual 3D copy of the designer sneaker is presented in a futuristic way. Customers can explore, rotate, zoom in on the product via gesture recognition - and even personalize colors, laces, and other details, with their own mobile phone serving as a remote control.
This invisible product presentation allows retailers to pre-launch an unreleased product, create desire, and provide users with a very immediate yet exclusive way of shopping. The holographic display is modular and replaces the pop-up store concept - it is placed at urban hotspots, secret in-locations, subway stations, shopping centers, window fronts, etc.
