How to Get to the Point

If something is "on point," it's definitely our Brazilian designer Fernanda. Her sketches and images have often amazed us. Therefore, here is a long-awaited small tutorial on the topic of "Pointillism."

First, you need some supplies. In this case, Fernanda used:
- Mechanical pencil 0.7
- Staedtler Pigment Liner 0.05 / 0.1 / 0.2
- Eraser
- Paper
- Reference image

01
Let's start with the mechanical pencil and a rough sketch.

02
Once the sketch is in place, the real fun begins. Depending on what suits you better, continue with pointillism. Fernanda starts with the shadowy elements, as it is easier to make corrections on dark elements than in light areas.

03
Subsequently, once all the dots are in the right places, move on to the details and light areas.

04
After a few hours of work combined with a lot of patience, black coffee, and good music, the picture should be finished.
