Make the Cookit experienceable before the release.

The product needed to be tangible in advance.
Before the market launch, the Cookit should clearly convey design, functions, and connectivity, as well as excite the trade press, sales, and employees. The task was to narratively explain complex USPs, make the interaction measurable, and create a format that could later be easily scaled for training and sales.

An immersive 3D experience for trade shows, sales, and training.
The result is a narrative 3D experience with cinematic camera movements and interactive paths that make the design, functions, and connectivity of the Cookit tangible. The application ran on three touch tables in 4K and was later adapted as an iPad app with an integrated CMS for training and presentations.

The adaptation for the iPad transformed the temporary trade show experience into a permanent sales and training tool. An independent CMS allows for easy content updates for product iterations, remote access ensures scalability, and the intuitive interface makes the application directly usable for employees.

We ported the experience efficiently to the iPad, optimized 3D models, VFX, and the user interface, and ensured the balance between visual quality and smooth performance. This allowed for usage without additional high-end hardware and significantly reduced maintenance efforts.
Technically, the solution was based on a high-quality render pipeline, smart optimizations, and a flexible workflow that transformed the trade show version into a mobile training tool.

Discover, Prototype, Build, and Launch formed the process: real usage scenarios defined the story, prototypes tested interaction and filmic elements, materials and micro-interactions were refined in the Build phase, and the Launch followed with integration into the iPad with CMS. The cinematic storytelling was the crucial moment that made functions emotionally understandable.

The experience is maintainable, scalable, and directly usable in everyday sales.
The key learnings were to prioritize visual materiality early, design interaction paths playfully and understandably, and integrate a content management system for long-term maintainability. This combination increased the interaction rate and made the experience permanently valuable for press, sales, and internal training.
