Built technology becomes tangible at DES.

DES should clearly stand out from the competition.
DES wanted to not only assert its technical excellence but also make it palpable. The challenge was to create a bold brand presentation that remains easy to manage editorially. Success should be measured by user engagement, visibility, and straightforward content operation.
Architects, builders, and technical decision-makers should be able to explore projects playfully or quickly find facts. An experience that sparks curiosity and a CMS that allows DES editors to provide daily updates without extensive training was essential.
The solution needed to be impressive yet practical.

We delivered a modular website featuring a 3D project world and an easy-to-manage CMS.
What emerged is a modular front page: a WebGL-based 3D project world with drone navigation and four recreated flagship projects, as well as a clear 2D information module with a real-time capable CMS. The result is an extraordinary brand presentation and an efficient editorial operation.

At the center of the scene is the built DES logo, formed from three tangible buildings that provide insights behind the walls as one approaches. A park with a lake and the symbolic runner convey DES's sustainable orientation and invite users to deeper, emotional discoveries.

The work was divided into four phases: shared brand and user understanding, interactive prototypes of the drone control, technical implementation of WebGL and CMS, and optimization and launch.
The process led from discovery to going live.

The real 'magic moment' occurs when visitors control the drone and intuitively activate content: projects open up, construction information becomes visible, and the balance between playful exploration and targeted information search is effortlessly achieved.

Technology and content are focused on human impact rather than technical jargon.
The experience utilizes WebGL with progressive delivery, ensuring that immersive scenes work on many devices while editorial content remains available as classic HTML pages. The modular CMS allows for quick, structured updates without loss of quality.
The key insight was that intuitive interaction and editorial practicality are equally important. Simple navigation, clear content anchors, and an easy-to-use backend created the greatest impact, ensuring the site remains vibrant in the long term.
