Digital relaunch makes craftsmanship tangible for young people.
Why orientation matters for career choice.
Young people face the choice of their training and need both orientation and identification. At the same time, association members and journalists should find reliable information. The task was to create an inviting, entertaining, and informative presence that offers space for campaigns and informational material for secondary target groups.

The new website combines detailed career profiles, an intelligent search function, a personal favorites list, dynamic social feeds, and special campaign modules like 'Get My Job' with video content. All elements connect the image campaign and practical career information into a unified user journey.

The career profiles have been redesigned, featuring generous header images, delicate icons, and up to five core attributes per profile. Through clear taxonomies and cross-linking, visitors can discover related professions and intuitively navigate through the eight trade groups.
Campaign videos and the 'Job of the Day' module bring life to the page. Embedded social feeds and films from BIGFISH ensure relevance and emotional closeness, while actions like 'Get My Job' connect direct storytelling with concrete insights into training.
This is how we implemented the site.
In four phases — Discover, Prototype, Build, Launch — an exploratory information design was created with a clear search and an off-canvas favorites list for personal collection. Core ideas included interconnected profiles, media campaign integration, and a streamlined navigation that rewards exploration. The biggest insight: direct video stories and simple exploration create the most impact.

The result is a modern, solid foundation that allows static information and dynamic content to go hand in hand. The interconnected profiles, clear search, and campaign integration make craftsmanship visible and tangible. The project was time-compressed but laid the groundwork for a second expansion phase.
