Nike Community Wall makes the brand tangible in-store.
Community gives products meaning.
In the store, there was a lack of an inspiring connection between product and athletic community; the goal was to strengthen brand loyalty and guide customers to purchase decisions more quickly and securely through relevant context.
The first installation was part of a new Nike area in a SportScheck store in Munich; the app needed to actively invite visitors to interact, make content easily findable, and provide relevant information instead of overt advertising.

The Community Wall brings together product highlights, short videos, local running groups, events, and real-time feeds in a flat tile grid, allowing customers to find inspiration and make better-informed purchase decisions.
Design and interaction follow a clear rhythm: reduced typography, colorful highlight tiles, and flat navigation lower the entry barrier. The strongest moments occur when real community contributions run alongside product videos, transforming advertising into a credible, inspiring encounter.

Discover, Prototype, Build, and Launch led to a lean, stable application with modular content and live APIs. Technically, the solution is based on a high-performance frontend, CMS-supported content delivery, and interfaces to community feeds. The most important learning moment was: context and simple navigation generate significantly more interaction than visual effects.
