A stage for immersive event storytelling.
Why the website needed a fresh perspective.
OPTIMIST tells immersive, audiovisual event stories. The previous presence could not consistently showcase this strength across all devices. The goal was to clearly place the portfolio in the spotlight, preserve the power of video, and significantly improve usability and loading times on desktop, tablet, and smartphone.
We developed a responsive portfolio website that puts video content in focus, offers adaptive layouts for three device groups, includes an optimized media pipeline, and features easily maintainable project pages.
The projects are always at the center.
On desktop, artistically produced video backgrounds showcase the four US locations and create immediate local color, while image and video compositions draw the user directly into the event.
Fast, responsive, and visually convincing.
Through targeted media compression, progressive delivery, and streamlined layouts, loading times were significantly reduced without diminishing visual impact. Users spend more time on the projects, and the imagery remains powerful and precise.
For mobile devices, adaptive adjustments were implemented: tailored video clips, location-based features, and direct selection functions ensure quick, context-relevant interaction on smartphones and tablets.
