The House of Schletter makes solar mounting systems digitally tangible.

Scene from the interactive test center: a mounting system in a wind test, visible movement on components, and realistic shadow casting.
Why Schletter needed a new form of presentation.
In the solar industry, the credibility of the presentation determines investments. Schletter previously presented products mainly in 2D or at trade fairs, which meant high logistical effort and limited reach. The goal was to clearly demonstrate product advantages, make stability tangible, and create a globally available, high-performing experience.
We developed an immersive, interactive 3D experience with three main areas — The Weather Lab, The Workshop, and The Hub — as well as an interactive test center. CAD models were incorporated in detail, procedural animations simulate wind and light, and our VE. platform ensures stable performance even on mobile devices.
We built the virtual home for products and services.
In the Weather Lab, users experience dynamic weather simulations, the Workshop explains assembly and individual components, and the Hub connects product information with support and contact options. Interactive elements invite experimentation, allowing professionals, planners, and decision-makers to immediately understand the systems.
The House of Schletter combines depth of detail with easy accessibility.
The experience is now available online through the website and is used worldwide at trade fairs. Users can test mounting systems in real-time, such as their behavior in strong winds, leading to more realistic sales conversations, faster understanding, and broader reach.
Our process followed clear phases: Discover with stakeholder workshops, rapid prototypes for validation, detailed construction of the 3D environment, and a staggered launch for web and trade fair. The central 'Magic Moment' was the interactive test center, which made technical robustness immediately tangible for users.
This is how we proceeded from concept to launch.
The biggest insight was that realistic interaction convinces.
Manually controlled animations and an interactive test center significantly increase trust in the products compared to classic 2D visualizations. Our recommendation is to involve user testing early and consistently optimize the experience for mobile use to maximize reach and impact.

The House of Schletter makes complex mounting systems emotionally and understandably tangible.
