Why Vodafone wanted to make a visible impact.
For the opening of the new flagship store, a striking action was designed to attract passersby, increase store visits, and generate media attention. The KPI was clear visitor frequency on the opening day as well as measurable engagement through participation in the game and high score competition.

What we delivered was an entertaining, freely accessible gaming experience on a video wall spanning two floors, complemented by a promoter app for control and a high score logic that made the competition visible.

Here’s how we proceeded.
After discovery and rapid prototyping, we tested the motion control and overlays, built the C++/Cinder bridge for real-time data, and rolled out the promoter app. The moderation by promoters, the short game duration, and clear leaderboards represented the greatest leverage.
