Making Witol visible: Augmented Reality gives an inconspicuous component a stage.
Small parts often remain invisible, even though they are crucial.
At trade shows and in sales conversations, the specific contexts of Witol's application were lost, making communication and lead quality more difficult. The goal was to make the function and variety of the product tangible for visitors and to measurably increase dwell time and conversation quality.
The solution is an interactive AR app that displays the Witol in life size and allows users to explore ten typical application scenarios, from the bumper to the battery, interactively. Users activate hotspots, see X-Ray views, and receive context-related explanations directly on the object.

Interactive hotspots intuitively guide visitors to relevant components, dynamically build the scene, and reduce visual clutter. This makes the small fastening element visible in the right context, facilitating conversations and making technical details understandable.

The work was divided into Discover, Prototype, Build, and Launch. The core consisted of optimized vehicle models, CAD-based 3D models, and a custom shader that clearly visualizes active and inactive states, consistently directing attention to the Witol.
The app combines high-performance augmented reality with interactions integrated in Unity and models designed in Maya, allowing the technology to seamlessly disappear behind the experience. The result is a robust demo that works reliably at trade shows and engages experts in conversation.
At trade shows, the AR experience led to significantly stronger product perception and higher conversation quality. Visitors understood the application context more quickly, presentations seemed more compact, and the product stayed in memory longer.
