Energy in the Room: The elements become tangible.

Energy should not only be measured but experienced.
In the Prefabricated House World Wuppertal, the interconnected, energy-positive houses were designed to be emotionally experienced. The installation in the entrance area attracts visitors, makes the topic accessible, and increases dwell time and interaction as measurable goals.
Elements makes fire, water, earth, and air controllable.
The 5-meter-long projection surface presents the four elements abstractly and reacts to movement. As a result, four seamlessly connected panels are ready to attract visitors and encourage conscious play.
Close-up of the abstract element visuals: flowing water forms, lively flames, swirling air, and earthy textures.
Subtle movements are translated into immediate reactions.
Two D-Imager sensors create point clouds, a Java middleware synchronizes both views, and ThreeJS renders the shapes in WebGL. This creates feedback that transforms random passing into conscious manipulation and establishes a sensual connection to the topic of energy.
The greatest impact came from the combination of a large format, visible moments of randomness, and very finely controllable reactions. This created an inviting low-threshold experience that quickly transitioned into intentional play and emotionally anchored the topic of energy.
Large formats with fine feedback create lasting encounters.
