An immersive film experience for HUSUM WIND's 35th anniversary
For the 35th anniversary of HUSUM WIND, we created an immersive film experience that makes the spirit of the trade fair tangible. A five-minute installation across three synchronized projection screens connects the past, present, and future of wind energy — experienced personally, emotionally, and collectively.
Instead of a conventional corporate film, we designed a space where storytelling, moving images, and physical effects merge into one holistic experience. 40 visitors experience the evolution of wind energy — not as spectators, but as part of the movement.
More than a trade fair film
For the anniversary, a conventional corporate film was never an option. The goal was a truly immersive experience that engages visitors, moves them emotionally, and brings the unique character of HUSUM WIND to life.
The trade fair as a community, a family, a driving force of wind energy evolution — this was meant to be felt in the room, not just told. An experience that goes beyond information and triggers real emotion.
Story as space
One canvas, three screens — rather than thinking in separate displays, we conceived the three projection surfaces as one continuous visual plane. Content, rhythm, and transitions were developed entirely for the space.
The metaphor of evolution runs through the entire narrative arc: from the raw power of wind through pioneering spirit and growth to innovation and the future — culminating in an invitation to become part of this evolution.
A space comes alive
A prologue sets the mood and sparks curiosity. Chapters on courage and beginnings, growth and responsibility, and future and innovation follow. The epilogue closes the arc: HUSUM WIND as a family, carried by people.
A unifying visual effect ties all content together. A modern, graphic look with clear grid structures leverages the depth of three screens — content flies toward the audience, creating a powerful sense of presence.
Historical imagery was transformed into short motion sequences using AI-based effects. This creates an emotional connection between 35 years of history and the energy of today.
The experience is deliberately passive: 40 stools in a dark room, a shared countdown, synchronized projections, and physical effects like wind fans that activate at precisely the right moment, making the visuals tangible.
Technology and setup
Produced in Adobe Premiere and After Effects. Precise synchronization of all three screens via a central timeline. A carefully curated combination of archive footage, new visual content, and selected stock material.
The result: a seamless, space-filling composition that engages the entire room at every moment and uses the three projection surfaces as one unified stage.
Be part of the Evolution
This project demonstrates how storytelling, space, and technology can merge into one emotional experience. Rather than simply informing, the experience draws its audience in.
The evolution of wind energy is a shared movement — and HUSUM WIND is the place where it becomes tangible. A trade fair moment that lasts.
