A virtual toolbox that makes selection an experience.
Users were overwhelmed by the extensive product catalog.
The catalog includes hundreds of pliers with many features, leading to confusion and lengthy decision-making processes. The goal was to provide orientation, enable quick recommendations, and build purchase confidence.
The app is aimed at both professionals and DIY enthusiasts and needed to function in multiple markets; it had to consolidate product data from various sources and show locally available retailers.
The aim was to create a personal and brand-oriented experience.

An app that advises, remembers favorites, and connects to purchasing options.
The app combines a product finder, wish list, and AR viewer.
Deliverables included a guided product advisor, a digital catalog with faceted filters, a personal toolbox for saving favorites, a 3D/AR viewer for building trust, and a store finder for the purchasing journey.

The AR feature allows viewing tools as 3D models, checking dimensions and details in the real environment, providing a better feel for fit and tactile experience before purchase. This increases trust and reduces uncertainty.
The wish list acts as a personal toolbox: users save favorites, plan purchases, and manage collections, creating long-term benefits for fans and professionals.
The app offers a personal toolbox and wish list.

Cross-platform built, locally deployable, and tailored to users.
Thus, Discover, Prototype, Build, and Launch proceeded.
In Discover, we analyzed target groups and data sources; in Prototype, we tested guided flows; in Build, we relied on React Native and synchronized product data; and in Launch, a multi-local rollout took place in several markets.
The guided quiz approach translates requirements into concrete product recommendations, while AR and simple filters shorten the selection process and build trust.
The magic moment was the guided product advisor that leads to the right pliers in just a few questions.
Technically, the app is based on React Native, several synchronized product data sources, and a modular architecture for multi-local rollouts. The application is available in over 25 countries and connects digital discovery with simple local purchasing paths.
Complexity becomes tangible through guidance.
Takeaway: Guided decisions and personalization reduce friction, AR strengthens purchase confidence, and a modular, locally adaptable structure enables rapid growth in new markets.
