A social commerce app that combines community, shopping, and loyalty.

SNIPES customers want to be part of the brand.
In a highly competitive market, SNIPES needed to strengthen its digital relationship with a passionate, socially connected target audience, reward interaction, and turn everyday scenarios into revenue. The goal was to measurably increase engagement, retention, and conversion.
Our market study showed: fans want to co-create, be seen, and be rewarded for their loyalty. This led to the idea of turning customers into active content creators and brand ambassadors.
The aim was to transform community interaction into genuine customer loyalty.
We developed a social commerce app that brings together shopping, sharing, and rewarding.
The app features a home feed with content creation tools, product tagging, and 'Shopping the Look', a gamified loyalty program with COINS and HEARTS, account and profile functions, as well as integrations with e-commerce, CMS, and external services.
As a result, the app achieved over 5 million downloads and 500,000 monthly active users who use the feed daily, create content, and purchase products directly from posts.
The app has sustainably strengthened community, reach, and revenue.
We proceeded iteratively from discovery to launch.
The process began with research and prototypes, moved through user-centered testing to technical implementation, and ended in a staged launch. Each phase informed the next, allowing features like 'Shopping the Look' and the loyalty system to be validated in a realistic manner.
Technically, the team relied on React Native with TypeScript, a serverless Django backend, AWS services, and ML-supported moderation. A central design system ensured consistent experiences and efficient further development.
The experience for users was at the forefront.

The 'Magic Moments' occurred when users could directly tag products in their posts, the look became instantly shoppable, and rewards created visible value. The key learning was that early user feedback and a robust design system accelerate decisions and foster long-term loyalty.
